Taryn Koury is a Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW) who specializes in helping kids, teens, and young adults navigate big feelings, tricky situations, and everything in between. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northeastern University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan—so yes, she’s both well-trained and deeply familiar with the phrase “Go Blue.”
Taryn has worked with individuals of all ages in settings such as community mental health and outpatient psychiatric care, but her heart (and most of her clinical experience) is with children and adolescents. Her approach is developmentally appropriate, strengths-based, and thoughtfully tailored to each child’s unique needs—because there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to kids.
She partners closely with families to help children build emotional regulation skills, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthy coping strategies that actually translate to real life—at home, at school, and with friends.
Taryn is committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and culturally responsive care, and she firmly believes that with the right support, kids and teens can grow into confident, resilient humans with a strong foundation for lifelong emotional health.
