Hi, I’m Jamie. I am a dedicated clinical social worker with over three years of clinical experience. I specialize in helping adolescents and young adults navigate mental health challenges. My approach is rooted in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can express themselves openly and without judgment. In my practice, I focus on goal-oriented strategies that empower my clients to set and achieve personal milestones. Adolescents and young adults are often underserved in the mental health field, and I strive to make them feel heard, valued, and understood.
I specialize in preteens, teens, and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD, as well as those exploring their identity within the LGBTQ+ community. My mission is to help my clients recognize their strengths and work toward becoming the best version of themselves. I validate my clients’ emotions and meet them where they are, using techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other proven interventions.
A little about myself! I received my undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and my graduate degree from Wayne State University. Go Broncos and Warriors! During my time at Wayne State, I studied CBT and related therapeutic methods. When I’m not at work, you can find me enjoying the company of my cats, diving into a good book, or exploring the great outdoors on a hike.
I’m excited to support you on your journey to improved mental health and well-being. Let’s work together to create a brighter future.
