Sometimes we need support to help us as we are navigating along the journey of life. Do you find you spend most of your day in fear-based thinking? Or does it feel like you are just going through the motions and lacking purpose? I work collaboratively with my clients to help them to build resiliency. I have a passion for empowering my clients to feel confident to not only cope with their current challenges but to build trust in their ability to cope with the future challenges that will come their way.
Creating a safe inclusive space for clients to open up is a core value of my practice. Feeling comfortable to explore thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that are causing distress, I believe, is one of the most important aspects of therapy. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life adjustments, low self-esteem, and interpersonal conflicts.
As every client is unique, I utilize an integrative approach that services each client’s specific needs and goals. At Therapyology we are all about empowering the next generation. Together, let’s continue to normalize reaching out for support and breaking the stigma of mental health!
My education and training began in earning my bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida in Psychology. Following that, I went on to become a Certified Yoga Teacher which sparked my interest in the use of mindfulness and the mind-body connection in the field of mental health. My passion for mental health then grew as I went on to pursue my Masters of Social Work degree from Wayne State University.
